Canvas Overview

Canvas is used by over 1,600 educational institutions around the world. Users from those institutions, along with the over 700 Canvas employees, have established a community of connected and committed users where they share best practices and help each other utilize Canvas to its fullest potential to enhance teaching and learning. Click here to visit the Canvas Community for ideas and resources.

Below is a brief video introducing you to the Canvas Interface.

Penn State’s Canvas Learning Path

Every course has some unique needs, but there are similar functions and tools necessary in nearly every course (for example, having a well-designed syllabus available to students). The online Penn State Canvas Learning Path is a great resource to bookmark and visit as you begin this transition. Find the Getting Started Guide by clicking this link.

Up & Running with Canvas via LinkedIn Learning
